Established in 2001, the Naval Point Club is the result of uniting the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club and the Canterbury Yacht and Motor Boat Club.

The Club has over 900 members and is based at Magazine Bay, Lyttelton.

There are boats of all classes from small Optimists to large Keelboats including trailer yachts, launches, dinghies and waka.  Naval Point welcomes any people interested in water sports.
