Waiting For Wind

The crew on Smokey waits for some wind at the heads of Lyttelton Harbour. Young 88 Champs 2005. Sure enough at 1.00pm the wind picked up and we were off sailing again.

Several Club members have built or own and race sleek model yachts reminiscent of the new Americas Cup boats.

Lyttelton Harbour hosts some of the loveliest and oldest vessels in New Zealand.

Moorings

The Club has a number of moorings for occasional use by members. They are located in idyllic locations in Lyttelton Harbour and adjacent bays.
