I'm a 27 year old keen on learning everything I can about sailing. I have no experience on the water except having worked aboard a salmon seining vessel for 5 months out of the Prince William Sound in Alaska. My ultimate goal is to eventually become a skipper. I am passionate to learn and know I would pick it up quickly. Looking forward to hearing back on any chance to gain knowledge and experience!

I have just moved to Christchurch from Tauranga. I'm keen to get out sailing if I can. I have been sailing a bit since I was a kid (dinghys / trailer), and have been crewing on a Farr 727 for the past 2 years in Taruanga yacht club's summer + winter series. Also crewed on one Round White Island race. My work is going to be a bit of a pain in that I will have to work some weekends, but I was hoping that I could perhaps get out as much as work allows me!

I’m a fit 37 year old interested in crewing and learning more about sailing.
I sailed a lot when I was younger (Optimists, a Mirror and crewed on a Scimitar (20’) and Curlew (28’)), but not a lot lately. Just finishing a beginners 4 day course to try and get some basic knowledge back (!).
I’m keen to get out on the water and get back in to all elements of sailing. I am used to longer amounts of time at sea and don’t mind rough weather.
I have also worked as a crew cook and am open to working on longer hauls in that capacity.
young before moving on to bigger boats and offshore racing, mostly on the East coast. I have raced in 5 Newport-Bermuda Races, and done a few deliveries back, as well as a number of Onion Patch series, Vinyard-Halifax races, Block Island Race weeks, Off Soundings, Stamford-Vinyard races, Newport Race weeks, Swan Regattas, and a delivery to Iceland on a replica of Leif Eriksson's 86 foot viking ship. I haven't been racing as much as I would have liked over the past few years while I was in the Marines, but throughout my sailing experience I have usually worked either as foredeck or mast, but am comfortable holding my own with any position required of me on most boats.

I am a keen learner from England, not an amazing amount of sailing experience but eager to get more. Robin Knox-Johnson is my great cousin, and sailing is in my blood but I definitely would love to learn more. I am willing to volunteer any amount of time any date in exchange for a couple lessons.
