The Wardroom - Function Venue

The Naval Point Club Lyttelton’s Clubhouse is available for hire for functions, meetings, weddings etc.

Situated on the waterfront at Magazine Bay, overlooking Lyttelton Harbour, the Wardroom is the only waterfront venue in Christchurch.

Facilities available include:

  • Fully licensed bar
  • Function/dining room licensed for up to 150 people.
  • Outdoor deck will accommodate 80 additional people.
  • Sound system
  • Video projector & screen
  • Full on-site catering service.

Capacity

  • Sit-down dinner: 100
  • Theatre-style meeting: 120
  • Cocktail function: 150

Hire Charges

Room Charge Full Day $500. Corporate daytime meetings and part day – call for pricing.

Drinks service to be provided from the Club’s bar service – no BYO.

Conditions of hire:

  • Bond/Deposit of $200 must be paid within 7 days of booking to confirm and hold the booking.
  • Cancellation fee; within 10 working days – 50% of the bond/deposit paid.
  • Bar staff are included in the hire fee.
  • Any damage and extra cleaning required will be deducted from the bond over and above the basic charges.
  • Our liquor licence requires that all liquor must be purchased from the Naval Point Club Lyttelton.
  • Final settlement must be paid on the day of the function – EFTPOS available.
