NAVAL POINT CLUB - eNewsletter

Monday 8th July 2024

As we settle into winter mode here at NPCL there hasn't been much to report back on.

The main focus has been ensuring that we are ready for the upcoming season, building our learn to sail and Junior sailing programs, the racing calendar which should be finalised in the coming weeks and our volunteer and support base to ensure that we have the personal to back us up through all our events.

NPCL Floater haulout

Friday just gone, a hearty group of volunteers came together with much planning to pull the floater out for its regular maintenance. So please be aware that this will be out of the water for a couple of weeks.

If at any stage you can come down for a short period of time and help to clean all of the growth of the floats is greatly appreciated. There are a limited number of shovels onsite. We ask that if you do pop down outside of office hours, it may pay to bring your own equipment. Under strict instruction from the harbourmaster's office, please do not return any growth back into the water. We will have a skip on site shortly to safely dispose of any growth or waste.

AGM & Prizegiving

Prizegiving followed by AGM will be held on July 21st, Prizegiving from 2 pm and AGM at 4 pm.

Bring the crew down and celebrate the season. We will have a taco bar going between Prizegiving and AGM
