Marks for the Sumner Bay and Port Levy marks will NOT be physical marks. These marks will be replaced by GPS Location Markers as detailed in the list of fixed marks.
The GPS Co-Ordinates for these marks are;
Sumner Bay mark 12= 43 33.60’ S 172 46.32’ E
Baleine Point mark 13= 43 36.26’ S 172 51.06’ E

TY Harbor racing and Little Port Cooper cruise will start together at 1.15.
Courses:
Crourse Races
Start from Committee Boat off Church Bay Point
Round the Mark 1 to Starboard,
Round Fixed mark G3 to starboard
Finish in the bay of Little Port Cooper.
No results apply to this race. No finish times will be taken.
SAFETY:
Event communication will be on VHF 77
NPCL Rescue boats will be on the water until 1700hrs. Cruise Boats are requested to be back in Lyttleton by 1700hrs, outside of this time, assistance required will be by Coastguard and not NPCL.
The Commodore will be designated person to co-ordinate the return vessels from Little Port Cooper in a timely manner and to co-ordinate with NPCL shore.

Life jackets are required to be worn for this event for all boats.
Harbor Race
TY Harbor racing and Little Port Cooper cruise will start together at 1.15.
Start from Committee Boat.
Course will be published at or before 1200hrs.
Dinghy Racing
Courses will be published tomorrow based on wind direction and conditions.
Boats will start with their usual class flag sequence., both Harbor racing and Little Port Cooper cruise will start together.
Weather
A notice will be published via the notice board at or before 1200hrs on 14th October should either the Little Port Cooper or Harbor racing be called off due to weather

Due to weather conditions racing is cancelled for today. A call will be made at 1400hrs as to the raft up for later in the afternoon.
Opening day will continue as planned for next weekend - Saturday 7th October, which will include the sail past.
